We handle all your media, both digital and physical. You can bring us:

Digital media: Photos and videos on USB drives, memory cards, hard drives, Google Drive or Dropbox.
Physical media:
- Photos: We professionally scan and digitise your physical photos and slides.
- Video: We transfer old VHS tapes, camcorder tapes (like MiniDV, Hi8, VHS-C), and even film reels (8mm, Super 8) to a digital format for use in your slideshow.

Our team will compassionately edit your chosen media into a professionally crafted slideshow, complete with music and transitions, telling the story of your loved one’s life.

How The Process Works

Step 1: Select 1 or 2 songs you’d like to play in the slideshow.

Step 2: Compile all the physical and digital photos and videos. As a rule of thumb, you want each photo to be on screen for 5-seconds – so if the songs go for 5-mins, for example, you’ll need to select 60 photos.

Step 3: If possible, rename the digital photos so they’re numbered in the order you’d like them to appear in the slideshow.

Step 4: Make an appointment to bring everything into our Berkeley office.

Step 5: If required, We’ll digitise the physical media.

Step 6: We’ll create a draft edit of the slideshow.

Step 7: You can review the slideshow and make changes.

Step 8: We’ll deliver the final slideshow to you.

MEDIA TRANSFERS

Digitise your home movies, slides and photos

We can digitise your media to be included in the funeral slideshow.

VHS, Super VHS, DVDs, CDs, Digital Audio Tapes (DAT), MiniDiscs, audio cassettes, microcassettes, Video8/HI8, VHSc and Mini-DV video tape transfer to USB/Hard drive

$25 Set up fee, $15 per tape/DVD/piece of media

Each video is saved as a MP4 file on your USB/Hard drive.

Slides/Photo Scans – $25 Set up fee, $1 per 35mm slide/photo, $2 per negative (can scan photo negatives up to A4 size)

Each slide/photo is saved as a JPEG file on your USB/Hard drive.

We transfer Super8, 8mm and 16mm film reels, with and without audio, to MP4 files.

$45 Set up fee, $4 per minute of tape, rounded up to the nearest minute.

Each film reel is saved as a MP4 file on your USB/Hard drive.

If you can’t supply your own USB or hard drive
we can supply one for an extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to make a slideshow?

The more organised the photo and video files are, and if the instructions we receive are clear, then we can turn a slideshow edit around within a day.

If we need to digitise and order photos and videos then the edit may take longer.

What are the payment terms?

We require a 20% non-refundable deposit to be paid before we start work on the slideshow.

The remaining 80% is due before delivering the final video file.

Can you edit my photos and videos into a slideshow with music?

Yes, we’d love to edit your videos and photos into a slideshow with music.
We often have clients ask us to do this for upcoming parties, special events and funerals.

What format will my slideshow video be in?

Great question – we export all our slideshows as MP4 files.

The video resolution will be 1920 x 1080 (also known at 1080p).

16:9 aspect ratio.

How to get your photos to us

Step 1

Contact us to book an appointment.

All our drop off and pickups are by appointment only.
Our office is in Berkeley, a short 10-min drive from Wollongong.

When we’re not out filming, our office hours are 10am – 6pm Monday – Friday.

Call, text or email us to book a time to drop your photos and videos off to us at 7 Stafford Street, Berkeley.

We can also pick up photos anywhere in the Illawarra or orders can be posted to our office.
